Date And Walnut Buns
85g Dates
240g Flour
2 teaspoons of Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
115g Butter
115g Cane Sugar
80g Chopped Walnuts
1 Egg
2 tbs of Milk

Chop the dates. Add flour, baking powder, salt, soft butter, cane sugar, walnuts, egg and milk. Knead into a firm dough with a hand mixer. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place walnut-sized heaps on the tray. Place on the top rack in the preheated oven (220°C top and bottom heat). Baking time 8-10 minutes.
